In the Summer of 2022, I was given a challenge: To illustrate my very first children's book in collaboration with the Edmonton Elks Football team... in only two short months! I was given creative freedom to interpret what a younger version of the team's mascot, Spike, would look like. Taking the story and diving in, I created vivid landscapes with bright colours and cute animals along Spike's adventure. 

This book was created in the hopes of sparking interest in younger fans: Targeted at children ages four to eight, the story highlights how Spike finds a place of belonging, cheering on the Elks alongside fans of all kinds. Read more about the book here.
